Dudley Farm / Website & digital operations
A historic place. A more useful website.
Helping a volunteer-led organization make its visits, events, and ways to get involved easier to find—and easier to maintain.
Staging prototype · Pending approval

The situation
A volunteer-led historical organization needs its website to do several jobs at once: help people plan a visit, explain what is happening, and give members and volunteers a clear way to get involved. It has those needs without an internal technology department.
The decision
A new appearance alone would not solve the maintenance problem. The redesign needed to fit the organization’s existing Wild Apricot environment and keep everyday content changes within its visual editor.
What I built
A website prototype organized around the things visitors and members actually need to do. The staging implementation includes native, editable pages for visiting, events, volunteering, membership, and giving, with layouts that work on phones as well as desktops.
Where it stands
The design is available in a staging environment for review. Production rollout remains subject to approval. A companion mobile tour is also in development; neither project is presented here as a completed production launch.
The website has to work for the people maintaining it, too.
